My com was down for like 2 days. It was highly expected that my graphics card or motherboard was the cause of the problem.. It was like I was resigned to fate that I had to get stuff from the coming IT fair.. But thankfully! James resolved the problem for me! Kinda lame problem actually.. it was like he removed the usb slot card and tadah.. my com was working well again. Zzzz and I owe him a meal..

Yesh.. attended the SIM tennis club meeting on wed and tennis action will be starting soon! Yeah the peeps all seem nice and friendly, looks like it's gonna be weekly tennis games of fun! :)

After dinner, Clarice finally came and we were off to see the movie 881. The show was really funny. Hokkien/Mandarin dialogue and I must say this local movie production was one of the best. Many comments about the ending saying it was touching and how true it was. I teared but managed to hold back but I guess my pals didn't haha..

I am excited for what 3 of us has planned to do. Guitar.. powerboat..the business plan.. keep them coming! Love it, love it, LOVE it.

So I finally took up my econs notes to read! Just started reading only the first topic and I had to ask a question on the Production Possibility Factor. Seriously I had forgotten lots of stuff and it took me quite some time to recall why the graph is the way it is. Well, great thanks to Dom to help me refresh my memory on msn messenger..

I know exam results are not out yet. In fact, I just sat for the maths paper today. BUT, all I can say that 34 marks was super achievable and I can gladly wave goodbye to mathematics. It was easy except for questions like augmented matrix that can drive you crazy. Haha YAY.. 1 down... and 1 econs paper to go. Zzzzzz... for econs I need to put double the effort knowing I suck at it. Thank goodness GE is down for 2 days. One distraction down so I got no excuse to say that I can't concentrate.

Really miss my pals.. haven't seen them in ages. Busy we may be with work or school, we shall meet up!

Zzzz having the cough is super irritating and uncomfortable. These few days in the lecture room, I am trying hard to control my cough. Coughing up phlegm is not a good thing at all. Totally understand what Xon is going through. Been sick for a week and hope to get well soon! And it's so nice of Dom to buy me vapodrops on Wednesday. Appreciated it =)

Now got a lot of notes from the subjects I am studying and my table is in a mess. I got a problem putting things together. I probably need more files and folders so that I don't mix them up. It will be disastrous if I brought wrong notes from another lecture. Ahh.. and notes for the bridging course.. need them to study for the coming exams which is real soon! 14 Aug for maths and 17 Aug for econs. Save me.

Ok concentration, concentration... focus, focus... study, study...

Supposed to blog sooner than this.. Especially on friday itself which was such a cherry blossom day. But unfortunately fell sick on that day and so pretty much needed rest.

Although down with flu, that Friday was still THE DAY to look forward to. Met up with Jacq and Michelle. Oh yea can you believe it, Michelle is my primary school classmate. Our paths meet again. :)

We were early when we got there so we went to get Corrinne's cd first. Design of the cover was great. Nostalgic feeling.. well.. it was highly anticipating to get into the hall to our seats and let the concert get started. But the doors were not even open yet so we had our yummy doughnuts.

Finally after much patience, the concert started. All I can say it started off with a BANG and ended with a BOOM. Meaning of course, it was great. From the first song, Angel in Disguise to the last song Save Me, it was awesome. Such a talented songwriter with good vocals and her lyrics and all so meaningful. So after that, we even queued about an hour plus for her autograph.

It was definitely worth the wait. Went up to her to get her autograph while telling her "Love your songs" and the replied came, "And I love your specs... where to you get it from?" Haha it came quite suddenly and I paused for quite a while before replying "The Cathay.." Yes and of course no picture no talk, we took a picture together! Jacq and I wanted to get individual shots too but she was just too nice to ask and believe me, the queue behind might murder us. Yeah feeling so sick but I managed to force a natural smile...

It was a splendid day. Totally fell more sick the next day. Hope I don't lose my voice.

Ok gotta get ready to go out for lunch soon. Grandma birthday celebration. =)

1st day of lessons started yesterday. Went earlier to school to so some maths revision with dom, yiwei and kel. Air-con was freezing cold in the library and wondered if I absorbed more cold than the maths? Hmm.. but I least I revised the whole differentiation chapter. Yes it's the dy/dx thing!

First lesson was Sociology and saw some familiar faces. Saw Weishan and one from the same OG. Naturally made new friends and formed group for discussion. Coincidentally, all my group members' name starts with J. Am I in the wrong group or what? Haha.. Well, the class went on fine but I must admit I really hate 3.30pm lessons.. Reason being that it's like the doze off period for me and going home at 6.30pm means facing the office crowd too. Noisy, crowded, squeezy.. so hate it. So dead for the other 2 modules that I will be taking next month cause they start at 3.30pm too. Lesson learnt, go into eCr early and book your classes fast! I will be so ready for my year 2 modules, believe me.

Morning lesson tomorrow but something to look forward to. It's corrinne may's concert tomorrow! And.. before that would be meeting up earlier with Jacq and Michelle. Wonder what lies ahead.. lol..

It's always good to be happy. =)
